Hangar Excitement

Hangar Excitement

Wings of Faith was blessed with a work crew to continue improvements at the hangar at the Holbrook Municipal Airport. The first week in April a crew of volunteers installed insulation on the walls and roof, and hung the Wings of Faith sign on the front of the hangar.

A huge debt of thanks to Caleb Davis, Kevin King, Konrad Winderl, Jared Mitrea, Eric Luhmann and Jim Yost for their time and energy to this important facet of the hangar!

The temperature averages in Holbrook range from 38 degrees in the winter to 75 in the summer. The insulation will protect the various donations from the outdoor elements; not only temperature but also wind and rain.

The WOF hangar is intended to be an outpost holding station for supplies. The proximity of Holbrook to the various missions where we deliver goods is ideal for pilots to make multiple trips in a day if necessary. And when weather prohibits a flight, the supplies can remain in a protected location until it is safe to fly.

The next and final stage for the hangar is to secure electricity. Please pray with us for the funding, as this will be a complex process.
